No Silver in Croatia

Hello folks! Just got back from a wonderfull trip. I spent the last few weeks in Zadar, Croatia with my lovely  daughter. As I explored the city, I was surprised to see that not one shop, vendor by the beach, or anyone else for that matter was offering Silver or Gold to any of the tourists or locals walking around the tourist packed downtown area. Croatia does not mint any Silver or Gold coins of their own, but I was expecting a few folks to be selling other European coins & rounds during this bullish time in the markets. Have any of you ever heard of or actually come across any coinage from former Yugoslavia? Please Join my blog & click on the ads.. Thanks, Lawrence
